The University of Louisiana at Lafayette’s B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration has once again been recognized for its MBA degree program online.
The degree program is No. 70 on Fortune Education's Best Online MBA Programs for 2024 list. It’s the fourth year in a row the program has been featured in the yearly rankings, which began in 2021.
Fortune Education evaluates factors such as alumni who hold executive positions at Fortune 1000 companies, brand recognition based on online search volume, tuition, retention and graduation rates, and enrollment.
This is the fourth time this year the MBA program online has earned national recognition. The program has ranked among national peers in lists by U.S. News and World Report, CEO Magazine and the Princeton Review for 2024.
Robert Viguerie, B.I. Moody III College of Business Administration associate dean for graduate and executive programs, said that’s come to be expected of the college’s programs regardless of delivery.
Based on the college’s accreditation, for example, “we are among the top 1% of business schools worldwide and among the top 10% of business schools in the U.S. accredited in both business and accounting,” Viguerie explained. “Our status as a top institution for business education isn’t a matter of opinion.”
The MBA degree program online provides a 100% online curriculum that mirrors the University’s on-campus program with nine concentrations, including health care, finance and project management. The MBA degree program online tuition rate is $388 per credit.
Dr. Mary Farmer-Kaiser, dean of the University’s Graduate School, said the ranking reflects the caliber of faculty who provide a top-tier learning experience for students whether they’re enrolled on campus or online.
“Graduate faculty across our University are actively engaged in academic research as well as practical application, and they bring that wealth of knowledge into classrooms online and on campus to help students gain the skills to become leaders in their respective industries and their communities,” Farmer-Kaiser said.
